A private dental care clinic in Malvern, Worcestershire, has been nominated for two prestigious industry awards .
Despite only opening for business nine months ago, the Beacon DentalCare practice has been short-listed for the important Private Dentistry Awards 2008 in two categories - Best New Practice and Most Innovative Practice.
The clinic’s innovative features include offering clients massage chairs and fresh coffee, providing a kids' zone where children can relax and displaying the work of local artists .
Karen Sutton, who co-founded the clinic with David Watson in December 2007, said: "The awards attract the cream of UK dental practices and are often won by dentists in exclusive Harley Street premises."
"This is a really great honour for us and also for Malvern."
The Private Dentistry Awards will be held on November 7 in London . The winners of the 13 different categories will battle it out for The Practice of the Year title.
