A team of Hungarian dentists are preparing to tour the UK and offer patients a range of treatments at up to a third of the cost of their British counterparts.
The dental team will use Britains first inflatable dental surgery to carry out consultations and treatments across seven major cities up and down the UK.
Prospective patients will be offered an initial consultation and information on the cost of treatment in Hungary and will be able to choose from a range of treatments including implants, dentures, crowns, bridges, veneers, fillings and tooth whitening .
The surgery, created by Hungarian Dental Travel, will make its national debut in Lincoln on Thursday, September 4, before heading to Glasgow, London, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Lincoln and Stockport.
Chris Hall, managing director of Hungarian Dental Travel, said: "Hungary has become the dentistry capital of the world and treatment is still a great deal cheaper there than it is in the UK."
"People travel from all over Europe to have dental treatment there. There are real savings to be made."
He added: "Unlike our competitors we didn't want to rent a dental clinic in Harley Street or somewhere like that because that doesn't really benefit people in other areas of the UK, like the north of England or Scotland ."
"The mobile surgery means patients can find out what treatment they will need and what the likely cost will be before they travel ."
"All of the dentists are very highly trained, are using the latest equipment and are licensed by the general medical council. The mobile structure, which took over a year to develop, is also equipped with an innovative x-ray gun and shield, never before used in Britain."
Hungarian Dental Travel Ltd - set up in Aubourn, near Lincoln, at the start of 2004 organises for Brits to travel to Hungary to have dental surgery and deals with more than 20 patients a month.
