A dental practice in the North-East has celebrated its 25th anniversary by being awarded five of the 23 trophies at the National Dental Awards ceremony.
The Dental Healthcare Centre in Stockton collected regional and national accolades for its practice design and interior.
Practice principal Mike Heads beat 25,000 other registered dentists in the UK to the title of ‘ Dentist of the Year’, while judges named hygienist Karen Hails ‘Hygienist of the Year’.
The latest set of awards adds to the five national trophies the dental centre has collected in the last six months, including ‘Best Practice UK’ and ‘Most Improved Practice’.
Commenting on the awards success, Mike Heads said: "We are over the moon with the achievements of our own practice, but I also feel these national honours should be celebrated by everyone in the North-east."
"They are an indication that the people and businesses in this area can achieve at the highest level and compete with the best."
