Residents of Needham Market in Suffolk have welcomed the opening of a new NHS dental surgery .
Tooth Booth is the seventh NHS practice to be open in Suffolk as part of a £4 million investment by the countys primary care trust to improve access to NHS dentistry .
The clinic will cater for both NHS and private patients, offering a range of general and cosmetic treatments .
Clare Banyard, head of primary care at NHS Suffolk, said: "Its been a long time coming, were really excited that were actually starting to get NHS dentists out there."
Speaking at the launch of Tooth Booth on Monday, the Mayor of Needham Market, Councillor Mike Norris said: "It gives people an alternative option to the private practice and in a growing community these facilities are very valuable."
The opening was also attended by local primary schoolchildren, who won a poster design competition to promote dentistry . Their winning designs will be displayed inside the new surgery.
